We absolutely loved the convenient location of the hotel, situated between the fox village and the station. The fact that dinner and breakfast were served in our room was a delightful and convenient experience. The food was delicious and the staff, despite their limited English, provided excellent customer service. The onsen and the quick tour of the place added to the overall satisfaction of our stay.
Our stay at the ryokan felt almost like being at home, with no reason to complain.

The hospitality of the staff was impeccable, making our stay warm and welcoming. The complementary dinner served on our arrival was a nice touch. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, and the serene countryside was the perfect backdrop to our mountain retreat. The onsen was definitely a highlight, a perfect place to relax after a long day.
While the hotel was hard to reach, the picturesque drive made up for it. The traditional Japanese fare served was an acquired taste, and some dishes, such as natto and raw shrimp, may not be for every palate.
